a ruby is how well its quality
matches the conception of the

Hsu ruby set as the main stone
invariably will be judged by
the quality of the ruby, so
an impressive gem-quality ruby
or a carefully selected jewelry-quality
ruby is recommended. In a style

in terms of color tone and
quality level.
As with any other gemstone,
Mong Hsu rubies with a slightly
lighter tone (about level 4)
will reveal their beauty even
when worn under weak lighting,
so it is wise to choose a beautiful
stone that is a bit light in
tone over a darker stone.

heat-treated Mong Hsu ruby
